At 25 years of age and playing in only his second season in the league, Burrow may seem a kid amongst men, but when one takes a look at the performances that he’s put in during the post season and the poise with which he has done so, it’s perhaps his opponents who should be concerned about the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 draft. Recently awarded the NFL’s Comeback Player of the year, Burrow battled back from a left knee injury that brought a premature end to his rookie season. What was he doing before that unfortunate moment? Quite simply, Burrow was on track to complete one of the most productive starts to a career by a QB in NFL history.

From Bengals single-season passing records to NFL rookie passing marks for attempts, completions, passing yards and 300-yard games, his 264 completions were the most ever by an NFL QB through their first 10 career games. That’s without mentioning his 404 pass attempts which according to his team profile, were second-most and his 2688 passing yards which were fifth. There was also the matter of five 300-yard passing games to tie the Bengals single-season record and stand third-most by a rookie in NFL history. In other words – if it wasn’t obvious – the ‘young buck’ as Tampa Bay’s Rob Gronkowski referred to him, is very good and only likely to get better.

Has Joe Burrow won a Super Bowl Ring before?
